What to write about
- Corrections. Accuracy is the entire point of this site. If a rate, an incentive amount, a program status or a tax fact looks wrong for your state or your utility, tell us — include the page URL and, if you have it, a link to the primary source. Verified corrections are applied and the page’s “data updated” date moves with them.
- Data errors in a calculator. Include the inputs you used (or the shareable result link — the “Copy result link” button under each calculator encodes them) so we can reproduce the result.
- Privacy requests. See the privacy policy for what is and is not collected; privacy requests go to the same address.
- Everything else. Questions, suggestions, and disagreements with our assumptions are all welcome. The assumptions are printed under every result precisely so they can be argued with.
What not to expect
We are not installers and we do not sell leads, so we cannot quote your roof, recommend a contractor, or connect you with one. We also cannot give tax advice — for anything that affects a return, a licensed tax professional is the right call, as every page here says .
